KAYLI 2nd QURAN COMPETITION 2009 COMMENCED

KAYLI 2nd Quran Competition 2009 commenced on Friday. The competition was inaugrated by Kanditheem Police surgent Moosa Ijlaal.

This year some 125 children from four different age groups would take part in the event. The Competition is scheduled to be concluded on 18th of this month. Last year some 91 children took part in the event.

DONERS CAN NOW DONATE FOR THE QURAN COMPETITION

The door is now widely opened for the donations related to the 2^nd Children's' Quran competition. The competition is due to be commenced soon.

Kayli is very thankful for those who kindly donated for its inaugural Quran competition last Ramadan.

YOUTH DAY RACE HELD TODAY

The official youth day marathon was held today afternoon in Kanditheem. This is the Third consecutive year that the Kayli has organized the race to mark the Youth Day.

So far in the event, Mohamed Nimaal of Raiyfusge, Sh. Kanditheem has won the marathon every year. This year's second place was won by Ahmed Siraj (Copey) and Adam Raazy won the third place.
